Chain District Managers are responsible for planning and controlling sales results for a team of Sales Representatives for Riboli Family Wine Estates brands & Stella Rosa within Southern California. This encompasses the training and development of Sale Representatives, communicating and problem solving within your Sales Team and Sales Management and working in the field with your Sales Representatives as well as calling on Key Chain Accounts. Building displays with involve routinely lifting wine cases, weighing approximately 45 pounds; therefore, sufficient strength and stamina are required. Must adhere to a 40-hour work week, Monday –Friday; hours could be late nights or early mornings.


• Manage a Sales Team of Sales Representatives & Merchandisers

• Work in the field selling, servicing and merchandising shelves, cold boxes, and displays in Chain Grocery store accounts with Sales Representatives

• Establish and maintain rapport with Store Managers and Liquor Managers in accounts

• Communicate effectively with Sales Manager

• Has good time management and organizational skills

• Is proficient with email, reports, and administration

• Is skillful with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Capable of building Sales Presentations and presenting these at Sales Meetings

• Provide feedback to management on market issues, opportunities, and competitive activity

• Build trusting relationships with Sales Representatives

• Project a professional appearance

• Adheres to Company policies and procedures

• Work with a sense of urgency and high standard of excellence

• Maintain satisfactory attendance

• Practices safe work and driving habits


• A minimum of 21 years of age

• Must possess current driver’s license and maintain current auto insurance coverage

• Must possess a reliable vehicle

• Must reside in respective Territory

• Minimum 3-4 years of retail experience and/or Wine & Spirits industry experience

• Preferred 3-4 years of Sales Management Experience i.e., District Manager, Area Manager

• Must have strong sales skills, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities, as well as technical skills

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

• Required to successfully pass a background check

• Must have the ability to lift 45-55 pounds on a regular basis

• Must adhere to a 40-hour work week (Monday- Friday)

• Flexible hours- May be required to work early mornings
