One of the biggest cocktail hacks out there is getting a liquor or wine with a flavor that goes with whatever drink you’re making. I am telling you, your Bloody Marys will forever be changed when you add in cucumber vodka, your spiked lemonades could benefit from a little citrus-flavored liquor, and your mimosas will be all the better from adding this orange-flavored sparkling moscato. Instagrammer @aldi.mademedoit spotted this at her local Aldi and said it literally glowed on the shelf, so obviously she had to buy it. This unique moscato is actually the Stella Rosa Imperiale Orange Moscato, which the brand’s website describes as a beverage “full of sass, pizzazz, and that ‘you don’t mess with me’ type of attitude.” Love that for her.
If you love flavors of “orange, lemon, orange blossom, and peach,” then this is the drink for you. And, hey, doesn’t that sound like all the flavors we want in a mimosa or any other sweet brunch drink? Um, yeah! Pick yourself up a bottle of this so you can spend your long Fourth of July weekend with a totally leveled-up cocktail in your hands.
In case your Aldi or local wine store doesn’t happen to have this exact one in stock, commenters let us in on the fact that Stella Rosa has all sorts of other deliciously flavored wines like sparkling rosé moscato and grapefruit rosé. Let’s be real, when it comes to these flavors, it’s really hard to go wrong!

Prohibition saw breweries and vineyards shut down across Downtown Los Angeles; authorities would destroy alcohol production centers. But San Antonio Winery survived and flourished. Thank you LA Downtown News for this amazing piece on our history.

Only a few in California remained, taking advantage of an exemption that allowed for alcohol production for religious purposes—Wallace noted that one Jewish temple in Los Angeles saw its congregation grow from 180 families to more than 1,000 over the course of Prohibition. The San Antonio Winery in Lincoln Heights just on the other side of the Los Angeles River, stayed in operations, making sacramental wine for churches.
